Summer Activities
Understandably, it can take some time to adjust to leaving life at Lone Mountain Ranch.
Unless, of course, you are accustomed to beginning your days with a made-from-scratch, hearty breakfast immediately followed by mounting a horse to adventure off to alpine meadows filled with wildflowers.
Or a guided tour of Yellowstone National Park.
Or perhaps a day of fly fishing some of the world’s most fabled trout waters guided by award-winning Orvis® Endorsed guides.
The list of activities that fill our summer days is genuinely impressive from horseback rides in Yellowstone National Park to mountain biking the miles and miles of trails of the Big Sky and Greater Yellowstone eco-system.
Every step along the way expert guides and naturalists are on hand to share with you these memorable experiences. The Outdoor Youth Adventure program is a favorite of parents and children alike. Two different day camps covering ages 4-18 that incorporate learning while developing an appreciation of the natural world include activities like ropes course, rodeo, guided hiking, canoeing, archery and overnight backpacking. These activities offer younger guests the opportunity to explore a genuine Montana experience at their own pace.
It should also be noted that doing little more than taking in the rocky mountain air and basking in the landscape is an activity many of guests enjoy with equal gusto.
