Yellowstone River Fishing Info
Fly fish the longest free-flowing river in the lower 48
The Yellowstone, one and a half scenic hours from the Ranch, is a premier river for drift boat fishing. This spectacular river originates in Yellowstone National Park at an elevation of 12,000 feet in a remote wilderness area. The Yellowstone is the longest free flowing undammed waterway in the lower 48 states and was named as "America's Last Best River” by National Geographic.
One of the most stunning floats is through Paradise Valley north of the Park and south of the town of Livingston. The Yellowstone is also is home to one of the largest intact cottonwood riparian areas in the West.<
We normally fish the Yellowstone from 20 miles south of Livingston to 20 miles east of Livingston. The Yellowstone produces Browns, Rainbows, Cutthroats and Mountain Whitefish.
