Situated in the spectacular setting of Big Sky and the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, Lone Mountain Ranch is the perfect location for mountain biking on your Montana vacation.

We offer a diverse array of rides for all ability levels, from gentle forest roads to challenging high mountain single track rides. Our guides will introduce you to the sport of mountain biking on easy to ride forest roads and trails. For more experienced riders, we guide you to some spectacular high points of the Greater Yellowstone area on challenging all day rides. We also have a variety of self guided rides accessible from the Ranch. In addition to the fun you have exploring by bike, our naturalist guides will help you appreciate and learn about the ecology and history of the region. At nearby Big Sky Ski and Summer Resort, a wide variety of lift accessed downhill trails are available as well as a newly designed mountain bike Terrain Park. Lone Mountain Ranch is permitted to guide select rides in the Gallatin National Forest.

There is not need to transport your bike, as we have a selection of Trek full suspension bikes and Iron Horse downhill bikes to meet all of your needs. Helmets, padding and accessories are also available.
