Yellowstone National Park
We loved everything! Especially going to Yellowstone, hiking, horses, fishing, photography, rafting. We particularly loved doing things with naturalists and other experts.

Just eighteen miles from the Ranch is one of America's most treasured landmarks, Yellowstone National Park. The first national park, established in 1872 by the United States Congress, Yellowstone Park is a unique and unforgettable place to experience.
Yellowstone National Park is considered to be the largest relatively intact temperate ecosystem in the world. It offers many wonderful opportunities to observe a variety of wildlife, geysers, hot springs, bubbling mud pots, free-flowing streams, and spectacular scenery.
With 360 miles of paved roadway, Yellowstone has plenty see "roadside". American Bison (Buffalo), elk, deer, and coyotes are commonly sighted right from your vehicle or from our tour bus. If you want to see black bear, grizzly bear, wolves, moose and other more reluctant animals, you have to know where to look, and what to look for. Our
guided tours offer you the best chance to experience ALL of what the Park has to offer.
With over 250 active geysers and thousands of thermal features, you will be delighted by the magic of an eruption up-close and personal. "The Park" has many grand and historic features like the Old Faithful Inn and the Yellowstone River Falls at Artist Point.
And what trip to Yellowstone National Park would be complete without a trip to visit Old Faithful?
At Lone Mountain Ranch, we are committed to providing everything you need to fully enjoy this experience of a lifetime.
