But the crown jewel of winter activity at Lone Mountain Ranch is our exclusive world class Nordic Ski Center. Right outside your cabin door is a remarkably extensive variety of groomed cross-country trails. From the most experienced and demanding cross-country ski devotees looking to ski the 2,200 vertical feet from the top of the system to the bottom, to those new to the sport in hopes of learning sound techniques from our instructors they can refine across the lower elevation meadows, the sheer variety of trails is sure to please.

Just make sure you heed to the resident wildlife when they decide to explore the trail system as well.
