The Ranch's 80 kilometers of cross country ski trails are some of the country's finest, but many guests also like to try other adventures on their Winter vacation. Just 6 miles away, guests can snowboard or downhill ski at Big Sky Ski Resort or Moonlight Basin Ski Area. Experience world class skiing without the crowds! Dog sledding has been another popular activity where guests sit back and enjoy the scenery or actually try their hand in leading the dogs through the scenic backcountry. We can also arrange a snowmobiling trip into Yellowstone Park with local guides. And, don't forget that Winter is a great time to try your hand at fly fishing...it's one of the favorite times for local fishermen.
